Our Vision

We seek to live out this mission in the following ways:

  • Worship – As Romans 12:2 says: worship is ultimately the sacrifice of our lives in service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We seek to worship God both corporately and individually.  We Love God through our worship.
  • Discipleship – It is our desire to help each other grow in our faith in Jesus and walk closer to Him daily through discipleship. We accomplish discipleship through our Sunday morning services, our small groups ministries and our Sunday morning Bible studies. We love God and people through discipleship.
  • Community – cultivating authentic community is central to the Christian’s life.  We were not meant to walk this faith journey alone.  To experience the fullness of Christ we need to experience authentic Christian community.  We experience Christian community in our small groups, and in our bible classes, Sunday morning worship services and in the variety of special events we host throughout the year. Authentic Christian community occurs in the development of genuine friendships that form through the shared love and bond of Jesus Christ.  We love God and people through experiencing authentic Christian community.
  • Service - Jesus came to this world to serve and not to be served.  He is our ultimate example of who God is and what He is like.  We follow Jesus, who taking the very nature of a servant humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross.  When we serve, we experience the very nature of Christ.  Here at Christ Community we serve people any chance we get. We love God and people through service.
  • Evangelism – As followers of Jesus we are called by Him in Matthew 28:19 to “GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” It is our desire to obey this call and reach out to our community and the world.  We believe that evangelism is a natural byproduct of a life transformed by the love of Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  We love God and people through evangelism.
